KNIT has been helping Charleston embrace knitting for almost 5 years. It has been a pleasure to be a part of the Charleston community. My daughter, Mollie, brought knitting back into my life many years ago when she wrote her Master's Thesis on knitting in art therapy. Mollie and I opened the shop to help others find the same passion and reap the same benefits from knitting that she had found in her research.
We have found that many locals are avid knitters and it has been a thrill watching many new knitters bloom into master knitters. We want people to feel like they are at home here at KNIT so if you stop by on Wednesday nights or a Saturday afternoon you will find many of our regulars enjoying a long day of relaxing, community, and knitting.
So, please come in and meet our great staff: Dana, Wendy, William, and Sarah as well as Gay and Faye and some of our regulars who love to help. Join the family and enjoy an age old art form that helps you create and relax.
Thanks for your continued support.
