"Save the Date" - May 15th, 2010
Beth Parrott is going to teach again!
Finishing techniques and Fixing Mistakes -- a whole day to devote to those things you keep asking for so mark your calendar now.
Mary Jane has several suggestions for classes that she would like to teach. This month she is teaching how to crochet flowers. You don't need to know how to crochet before you come - so this is a great opportunity for knitters to learn basic crochet stitches and create a flower to add to a scarf, hat, or sweater. Flowers are everywhere in the fashion world this season. The class will last an hour and a half and cost $35 for instruction. Bring scrap yarns, crochet hooks (if you have them) and your tapestry needle. Great creative fun.
Class on Tuesday, March 16th from 2 until 3:30. Please call ahead. If the class appeals to you and the day/time doesn't work then let us know what you need and we will try to make it work.
Mary Jane has also brought in some mini-pillows for a future offering so come see her designs and let us know what works best for you.
The number of individual classes has increased and it seems to work well when you have a project that you want help completing (or starting). The cost is $20 per hour and we try to schedule when it suits you best. Please continue to call and set up these sessions.
And as always beginner classes on Thursday at 5:00. You will learn to cast on and knit in about an hour. Beginner 102 is learning how to purl and bind off. Each class is $20 for the cost of instruction. Please call ahead so we can be sure to have some one to help you. |
